The Role: Finance Officer
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Finance Officer to join our growing team. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Manage financial controls and accounting procedures
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
- Monitor and manage cash flow
- Support month-end and year-end reporting
Qualifications:
- High school education, Accounting I and II
- knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Experience using software (e.g., Excel or Open Office Calc).
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance-related guidelines.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Sharp time management and organizational skills.
- Strong ethics and ability to manage confidential data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional qualification like CFA/CPA is a plus.
- Ability to write meeting minutes as an impartial witness
